Google Nexus 5 comes with a native call blocking feature. There are 2 ways to block unwanted calls. The methods are discussed below. But for opting these methods you will need to install CyanogenMod vustom ROM on your device
1. By Call Log Method
If you are always of answering an unwanted call and if it is bothering, the number might be available at your call log. You can simply block call from that user by the following thod. firstly go to your call log and find the number you want to block. After finding out the number tap on the clock symbol at the right hand side of the numer
Now tap menu option which is shown by 3 vertical dots.
from the menu that appears, you will see the "Add to blacklist " option. now tap that option . as soon as you have tapped the add to blacklist option you will recieve a notification showing that the number has been blacklisted. you can later unblock the number if you wish to.
2. By Altering the settings of your phone
If It is the unwanted text messages that is always bothering you , then you can follow this method to get through them.
Firstly open the dialer pad and tap the action overflow button at the bottom right hand corner and go to settings.
In the settings menu, scroll and find the black list. tap that and now you will see your blacklisted numbers. To add another number to the blacklist, tap the "+" symbol by tapping the"+" symbol you can add more numbers to the list or edit the current entry. You will also have the option to block call/messages from the blacklisted numbers. once you have finished then press OK to save the changes.
