#53. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge full review

Since now, all the phones available in the market had same form factor- a slab of glass surrounded by a square body. But now, this condition is going to change with the arrival of Samsung's  latest smartphone Galaxy Note Edge.

Galaxy Note Edge has a screen that folds over one side of the handset. It Looks identical to Galaxy Note 4 but with a curved screen at the right side of the display.

DISPLAY

While Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7 inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, the display of Note Edge is slightly smaller with a 15.6 inch screen. The hand experience is also far better than Galaxy note 4. The Dimensions make the device look a more premium one as compared to Note 4. It has a Quad HD resolution at 2500 * 1600.

LIVING ON THE EDGE

The curve at the right side can be turned on and off independently from the rest of the display. This way you can use curve as a quick way for viewing some of the important notifications. for more customisation, the wallpaper of the curved face can also be changed.

PERFORMANCE

Like Note4, it comes with a quad-core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 CPU and with 3GB RAM. The Addition of panels in the cuve hasen't affested the user experience, and everything runs fine. Some new animations has also been introduced to make it more pretty.

STORAGE

The Handset has 2 variants. One with 32 GB internal Memory and the other with 64GB. It also has a Micro SD memory card slot with an expandable memory upto 128GB.

CAMERA

Galaxy Note Edge comes with a 16 MP Rear camera which brings a wide experience for photography.
All the controls for capturing images and videos are embedded on the edge, and this feature eventhough it looks good, doesen't seem to be user friendly.
