# 59.Android 5.0 Lolipop Tips
Currently Android 5.0 Lolipop update is available for only a few devices ( Nexus , HTC or LG) but it is sure that it would be available for all within some weeks. For fully utilising the new android version, here are some of the tips that should be taken into concern
To wake the Screen : For waking the device from sleep, there is no need to reach for the power button. double tap the screen and it will automatically wake up.
Silent Mode : Enabling silent mode is one of the major drawback of Android Lolipop. By pressing volume down button , you cannot activate silent mode. The lowest volume for the device is 1 and it will not drop to 0. If volume down button is pressed again, then vibration mode will be active.
If you want to put your device in silent mode, press the volume doown button till vibration mode is active. Now increase the volume to 1 and reboot your device and the device reeboots in silent mode.
Settings Search : rather than going through all the options, you can search for the desired settings . For this open the settings menu and hit the magnification glass and search for what you are looking for.
Battery Saver Mode : For enabling the battery saver mode, go to Settings > Battery and then tap the action overflow button at the top. Turn On the battery saver and set your default battery life point ( 5% or 15% ).
5.1 Surround Sound : Enable 5.1 sound surround by tappind Settings>Enable Surround Sound
Lockscreen Notification : For viewing notifications at lockscreen , you dont need to unlock your phone always. Just double tap on the notification you want to see and you can view the notification.

#58. How to Manually Install Google Playstore
Many of the Android phones and Tablets come without an in build Google Playstore or sometimes you would have granted root access to your phone and have accidently deleted the playstore app. Follow these steps if you want to install Google Playstore app in your android device.
- In your phone, Go to Settings > Security and browse for device administration settings and tick allow installations of apps from unknown sources.
- Playstore apk file will be available from a lot of sources in the internet ( ex, you can download apk file from XDA Developers Forum or from Android Police. Dont worry about the version of Google playstore you download,since you can anytime update Playstore to the latest version directly from your phone.
There are 2 ways to download APK file to your device. You can either download apk file directly to you device or download file using a computer and transfer it to your device.
- When the download is complete, you would recieve a notification.
- Use a File Manager to complete the process ( like EX File Explorer or so )
- Open the file manager and navigate for the APK file you had saved in your phone.
- Click on the apk file and it will ask for permissions to install the app.
- Tap Install .
- After this process, Google Playstore is successfully installed on your device.
- The app will be seen at the app tray, and click on the Playstore icon to open the app.
( Note : allowing the installation of apps from unknown sources cause a major threat to your phone's security. SONY XPERIA Z4
The Sony Xperia Z3 had been launched recently in 2013 . Sony had been accelerating its growth in its Z line smartphones. Since this September they had launched Z1, Z1 Compact, Z Ultra, Z2, Z3, Z3 Compact. Sony is now in a pattern of releasing 2 flagship a year and each flagship Z line phone hitting the market after 6 months from the last . If Sony continues to keep up this pattern, then Sony Z4 will hit the markets at March 2015.
It is believed that the smartphone comes with a 5.4 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440. The stand out feature of Z4 is its Camera. It is to have a 21 MP Exmor RS IMX230 camera which is pretty good for 30FPS( Frames Per Second ) recording at 4k reolution.

Based on the information got by a chineese website MyDrivers, HTC M9 would make its way into the market in March 2015. It is Expected that HTC would continue its ONE Naming series for the upcoming smartphones.
The Handset set is assumed to be packed with features.With a 5.5 inch Quad HD screen, it is reported to be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB of RAM . HTC M9 will also be packing Huge battery of 3500mAh or 4000 mAh. it is also believed to be having a 16 Megapixel camera with Optical Image stabilization (IOS). It is not clear about the android version supported, but it is hoped to be coming with Android 5.0 Lolipop.

Lenovo had already put forward its intentions to acquire Motorola Utility. But the company had already planned to launch a tablet,Moto X smartphone and a Smartwatch next year. It is not clear about the features of this device, but the design is predicted to be like that of its preceedors and would provide the full android experience at a cheaper price.

This might be the first step to the future generation of smartphones.
Reports suggests that Galaxy S6 would have dual speakers at both front and back to enhance the music experience. also it would have a quality front camera with flash to take better quality images. The Smartphone will be running on powerful Snapdragon 810 processor which supports 4G LTE Advanced cat 6 along with 4GB RAM and primary camera of 21 Megapixels.
