#40. Is your android phone slow? Here is how to make it run faster!!!!!

1. Delete all the unwanted apps

Delete all the apps you are not using. usually we download apps to our device and we never notice that these apps are ther in our phone. it might not bring any notification or  noticable effects, but it tends to make the device work slower. It resides in the app drawer and stars looting CPU cycles for background rsources and using up the available free memory and thus fragmenting the phone's storage.

To delete any app that you have installed, go to settings and scroll down to see App manager . After opening app manager tap DOWNLOADED and you will see the list of apps that you have downloaded. go through them and tap on the app that you wish to uninstall . then a screen opens and at the top right there will be an "UNINSTALL" option. tap it and the app will be removed from your device

2. Clear all the cached data

The Internal storage of an android device is partitioned into 2 sections, section for user data and cached data for frequently used apps. you can clear the data and cached data on your device. for this firstly go to settings, go in to the device storage page . now there scroll down to see the cached data and tap on it. now a pop up will come asking for the permission to delete the cached data. tap yes and the cached data will be permanently deleted.

3. Check Your SD card

A slow and messy SD card will always make your device work slower. this can be fixed to some extend . what that must be done is to back up the data on the SD card, connect it to a computer and Format and erase all the data in it and put back the files to the memory card.

Connect The Memory card to a computer via adaptor and copy all the files to a folder in your computer. Make sure that all the files are copied. After copying Unmount SD card from Computer and  put it on your phone. Go to the storage and Format and erase all the data in your phone. Now Switch off the device and unmount the SD card and again connect it to the computer and copy all the backed up data from computer to SD card.

IF all the above stpes fails, then go for Factory Resetting

No one like to reset his/her device. Like we all know, factory resetting deletes all the data including contacts from your phone and your phone changes to the same condition as when it was bought. but there is no doubt that resetting your device will surely make your device work faster.

For resetting the device, open Settings page, scroll down to see Backup and reset option. tap it.
again a page appears and at the bottom of that page you will Factoty data reset option. tap on it and your device will be resetted.
